Anantara Chiang Mai Resort shines bright even in 2020

Located in northern Thailand, Anantara Chiang Mai Resort’s hospitality won it several prestigious travel and hospitality awards even in the grim year of 2020. In 2020 at Condé Nast Traveler US and UK Readers’ Choice Awards it secured the first position. It also topped the charts for Top 10 Southeast Asia Resort Hotels for Travel + Leisure 2020 World’s Best Awards.

Much of this credit goes to Anantara Chiang Mai Resort’s unique food and beverage hub, The Service 1921 Restaurant and Bar. Nestled in a century old colonial building this restaurant prides itself for the fresh ingredients that it uses and its wine collection. It was awarded a Plate in Thailand’s 2021 Michelin Guide and won two awards at Wine Spectator’s 2020 Restaurant Award.

Anantara Chiang Mai Resort is also well known for its spa tourism. The spa zone bagged several awards of its own. Anantara Chiang Mai and every staff working for the hotel gallantly overcame the hardships that 2020 threw to the travel and hospitality industry.
