Off the Wall in downtown Dubai is bringing art, music and cocktail together
Cocktail seekers in the ultra-modern city of Dubai get a new address to hangout— Off the Wall—an urban cocktail bar in the premises of Hotel Indigo. The light installation on the ceiling “Tokyo meets Dubai” is designed by Maxime Cramatte, a local artist, it indicates the fusion of Japan and Dubai. Baseen Rayynes, a Syrian artist is responsible for the murals that adorn the entrance wall. The graffiti work of Paul Bruwer of The Domino art collective is extensively used as well.
The most interesting part about this cocktail joint lies in the fact that all the signature cocktails here derive inspiration from art pieces from across the world. Arabic ingredients play a role in most of the cocktails served here. The menu is Pan-Asian and includes popular streetfood found in Asian markets.
To add to the fun, the music that plays here is finely curated by the local DJs and record collectors. They include rare music as well as popular ones.
