India gets its very own Dinosaur Museum and Informatics Centre in Raiyoli, Gujarat. Inaugurated by Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani on June 8, 2019, in Balasinor town of Mahisagar district, the Informatics Centre and museum add yet another feather in the cap of Gujarat Tourism. In 1980s in the quaint village of Raiyoli near Balasinor, scientists from the Geological Survey of India (GSI) accidentally discovered the fossil remains of bones and eggs of dinosaurs while surveying the area for mineral deposits.
